Stumbleupon.com – An EASY Source Of FREE Traffic

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share with you a quick tip to drive some EASY traffic to your website.  You’ve probably heard of Stumbleupon.com before.  It’s been around for years but I have found it to be a good source of traffic, even in recent times.  According to Alexa it is ranked 144 in the world, so by their stats there are only 143 other websites that receive more traffic than Stumbleupon.com.

For those unsure of what Stumbleupon is about, it is a site where you can share sites and pages with the Stumbleupon community.  Stumbleupon will then suggest other sites and pages that will likely be of interest to you… like it does with all of its users.

This means that you can submit your own websites and blog posts which will then be shared with ‘like minded’ users who shares the same interest as the content you are submitting.  This can create a barrage of targetted traffic.

It’s very quick and easy to to submit a page.  Simply create a free account at Stumbleupon.com and once you log in click on the ‘Profile’ button at the top and then click on the ‘Add a new page’ link on the left hand side.

All you do then is fill in the fields (takes a minute or two) and submit your page.  That’s it! [TIP] Add a number of tags that are relevant to your page.  The more you add, the more exposure you are creating for your page.  Also, write a decent description.  Keep it short but ‘enticing’.  Give a quick feel for the content on the page, or what they’ll be able to gain by visiting the page.

Everytime you publish a new blog post, log in to Stumbpleupon and submit it!  It’s quick and instant… and after a few submissions can bring in a ton of traffic.

Below is a screenshot of a site that I stumbled a few blog posts:

That’s over 10 visits a day from Stumbleupon.com with only a couple of Stumbles.  For the time it takes, it is well worth doing… and for some niches such as weight loss etc… it can be ‘golden’.

Please feel free to leave a comment and share your views… or own traffic tips.

To your success!
